Since 2018, we've been working specifically with older adults — developing yoga courses that treat the body with respect rather than pushing it past its limits.

Built from a real gap, not a trend

Most online yoga content wasn't made with older adults in mind. The pace was wrong, the poses assumed full range of motion, and nobody explained what to do when something hurt.

We started with a small group of instructors in Odesa who had spent years teaching seniors in person. Going online meant rewriting everything — not just filming it differently.

Halyna spent nine years teaching chair yoga and mobility work in physiotherapy settings before joining Skillenia Focus. Her courses focus on what actually changes when joints stiffen or balance becomes less reliable.

Movement & Curriculum Design

Darinka developed the sequencing logic behind each course — how one lesson builds on the previous one without overwhelming the learner. She has a background in gerontology and applied movement science.

How the courses work

No guesswork about what to skip

Every lesson comes with at least two modification paths. You don't need to figure out on your own what's appropriate — that work is already done inside the course design.

Honest pacing

Sessions run 20–35 minutes. That's deliberate — longer classes tend to fatigue and discourage return visits.

Modifications built in

Each pose shows chair, wall, and floor options. You see the full range, then choose what works for your body that day.

Courses start from scratch — flexibility, strength, and balance are never presumed at any particular level.

Learners across Ukraine can follow the same material, without needing a studio nearby or any special equipment.
